Independent stewardship · West Maui
The Maui Preparatory Academy Foundation stewards the land and charitable assets that support Maui Preparatory Academy and its long-term educational mission.
A lasting place for learning in West Maui
Who we are
Established in 2010, the Maui Preparatory Academy Foundation exists for the benefit of Maui Preparatory Academy. The Foundation owns the land on which the school operates and is responsible for protecting that property and the charitable assets entrusted to it.
While the Foundation and the Academy share a commitment to education, they are separate organizations with distinct boards and responsibilities.

Maui Prep operates the school. The Foundation safeguards the assets that help make its mission possible.
The Foundation
The Academy
The Foundation does not operate the school. It independently fulfills its legal and fiduciary responsibilities while remaining committed to constructive partnership.
Land & legacy
The Foundation owns the two parcels totaling 21.85 acres at 4910 Honoapiʻilani Highway and leases the property to Maui Preparatory Academy. Recorded restrictions preserve the land for private pre-K–12 education and reasonably necessary supporting uses.
The land is more than a physical asset—it is the foundation upon which Maui Prep's educational future has been built.
